About the journalist

Diana Wolf Torres

Independent journalist covering robotics and AI.

I’m based in Silicon Valley, where I interview the CEOs, founders, and engineers building robotics and AI companies. I ask what their technology can do, where it is being used, and what still needs work.

My reporting takes me to company interviews, robot demonstrations, industry events, and conversations that happen on the way between them.

How I report

Conversations with the people building it.

CEO interviews are a central part of my work. I want to understand the decisions behind a company’s technology, the problems it is trying to solve, and what happens when a robot leaves the demo floor.

I publish interviews, news, analysis, and short videos. Some stories need a longer conversation. Others begin with a question asked beside a robot at NVIDIA GTC or RoboBusiness.
